TSUKI AKARI    


This cafe is located beside of doll museum. Experienced housewife make local dishes for lunch. I had sushi on bamboo leaf which is one of local dishes. Here is rice growing region, so local grown rice is used for sushi. This sushi is topped with some wild vegetables, walnut, threadlike egg, red pickled ginger.
"Tsuki akari" means moonlight in Japanese.

PATISSERIE HIRANO    


A cake shop very cute and many kind of sweets I can choose. There is some cafe space to enjoy these cakes, parfait or afternoon tea! Drink is set many kind of juice, tea and coffee. I could serve them myself. All cakes are cute decoration and use seasonal fruits. Now peach swiss roll cake, chiffon, tart are lined in the showcase.

CAFE ELK    


This cafe decorated with many cute elks. Many attractive interiors are used in this cafe. I like especially lights and a mirror stand. Souffle is getting down so quickly. I dig centre of souffle and put whipped cream into this hole. I ate souffle from centre/inside.
New station of bullet train is opened traffic in this area, I felt this town might big change in the future.

KAI ALPS     


This place is not cafe, Japanese traditional hotel.
This hotel is one of Hoshino resort group which is famous as great hospitality.

Steamed rice was cooked by old cooking oven.
